Sparnaður ehf. was founded in 2002, when the company began operations in financial and pension advisory, alongside the sale of pension insurance from Bayern Life starting in 2007. The financial advisory has from the start focused on helping clients towards debt freedom through structured loan repayment.

Sparnaður has been a proud service partner of Bayern Life for nearly 20 years, offering diverse solutions including regular savings, accident insurance, guaranteed private pension savings and designated private pension savings that are fully inheritable — unlike what is generally practiced by Icelandic pension funds.

In partnership with Aurbjörg, Sparnaður has expanded its services and now provides individuals with professional and personal financial advisory. We specialise in refinancing advisory, debt advisory, loan advisory for first-time home buyers, retirement planning and pension advisory.
